Senior Housing

Design concept for site in south central Los Angeles. Approached by the site owner and developer, the studio was asked to develop a scheme and program to maximize the use of the corner site.

Massing for a 5 story building. The schemes relies on organizing the units on the perimeter of the building with an interior courtyard. Massing for a 12 story building with the same density as a pancake scheme. Public functions of the housing scheme as concrentrated ona plinth on the second level just about the parking. The public program have a relationship to the street and surrounding.
